The Operations Manager for this 3rd party stocking location will serve as the primary Stellantis point of contact and strategic liaison effectively coordinating with internal stakeholders in Sales, Transportation, and Supply Chain. Additionally, this role will be responsible for ensuring reliable, high-quality service delivery to all Dealerships supported by this location.
This role is responsible for overseeing 3PL management to drive operational excellence aligned with Stellantis Production Way (SPW) standards and overarching customer service objectives. Core areas of focus include optimizing Large Bulk fill rates, Streamlining Order Management Processes, enhancing Facility Storage efficiency, and improving Returns Handling.
A critical aspect of this role is ensuring that the quality of service provided by the 3rd party consistently meets or exceeds expectations by driving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing Stellantis SPDS and delivering superior service and customer centric performance that enables scalable growth within the commodity space at this Forward Stocking Location.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and control performance, cost and capacity of the External 3rd Party Forward Stocking Location
- Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance. Develop and maintain core KPI’s with the 3rd party.
- Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prioritize projects and ensure Mopar Process Guidelines are adhered to with regard to the operations.
- Primary Stellantis contact for Customer Service, ensuring prompt resolution of dealer concerns regarding delivery quality, frequency, and timing. Collaborates with carriers to develop tracking tools, identify recurring issues, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Provide face to face dealer contact to ensure service levels are within the program guidelines and work with the provider quarterly to review service level adjustments required per the program guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years Supply Chain Operations experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Dview WMS systems
- Open to 40% to 60% travel, 20% to 25% overnight
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Strong data analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels both internal and external
- Past experience or study of Start-up Operations or 3PL
- Team-player who can facilitate successful project work and operate to deadlines
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of Lean or SPW techniques such as Kaizen or Six Sigma
- Technical expertise, solution-driven approach to systems and processes
