We are looking for an experienced Service Catalog Product Owner to lead the strategy, governance, and Operational Management of our ServiceNow Service Catalog. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for ensuring the Service Catalog meets the needs of the organization and its users. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of ServiceNow and IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Service Catalog strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and ITSM processes
- Establish and enforce Service Catalog governance policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain the health of the Service Catalog, ensuring it is accurate, comprehensive, and user-friendly
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and document Service Catalog requirements
- Lead Service Catalog audits and reviews to identify and resolve issues
- Provide guidance and training to Service Catalog users and stakeholders
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Service Catalog management and ITSM
- Manage Service Catalog-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Develop and maintain Service Catalog dashboards and reports to provide visibility into catalog health and performance
- The Catalog Product Owner would also be responsible to back up the CMDB Product Owner as necessary
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an Information Technology (IT) related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Service Catalog management (including the Catalog Builder), ITSM, and related fields
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform and Service Catalog module
- Proven experience in developing and implementing Service Catalog strategies and governance frameworks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and project management abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist and ITIL 4.0)
