We have created a Software entity called SWX for SoftWare driven eXperience. SWX ambition is to make Stellantis an industry leader in software for the customer experience.
This new formed Software Organization is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior Software Developer. The Senior Software Developer will work as part of an Agile development team supporting, building and enhancing vehicle embedded software systems using full stack development including base software, for SW applications. This role will be part of a global team, and collaborate with other development functions, quality assurance, and IT teams to deliver software to vehicle platforms and programs, and contribute to continuous improvement of development, including support of DevOps concepts and practices by encouraging cross-functional communication, collaboration and design, and focus on SW Architecture. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a team environment, are strong communicators, possess good critical thinking ability, have a desire to learn, and can contribute to creative solutions that challenge the ordinary.
Responsibilities to include:
• SW Configuration
• SW Development, Diagnostics
• A custodian for the Agile process
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer science
• Minimum of 5 years of professional industry experience, with exposure to product development organizations, teams, operations
• Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and team building skills
• Strong and proficient understanding of embedded software development
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automated testing
• Experience with test environments, such as HILs, network monitoring/measurement, CPU/memory usage measurement
• An aptitude for learning new skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Familiarity with microprocessor-based controls and development tools Knowledge of software integration, SW architecture.
