The Warranty Recovery Procurement Specialist has a dynamic role that connects strong supplier negotiation skills with an interest in technical knowledge. As a Warranty Recovery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring cost recovery from our supplier partners, building a valuable network throughout Stellantis, and helping improve the product for our customers. We are looking for an individual with experience in negotiation, supplier management, cross-functional management of challenging situations, and a broad understanding of the automotive industry.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy, hands-on leader with strong convictions and a self-confident presence. Your personal style and demeanor will help you effectively find alignment on supplier cost recovery related to warranty topics.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or closely related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing or a related field
- Strong understanding of global commodity strategy development and supplier relationship management
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically
- Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can effectively interface with cross functional teams and all levels of senior management
- Strong communication and commodity leadership skills
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to understand basic technical topics
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to establish partnerships both internally and externally to influence without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Automotive purchasing and/or quality experience
- Data analysis experience
- Finance/accounting experience
